CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RULES

The Club Championship will be managed in accordance with the following club rules.
These rules have been introduced to ensure that all competitors have equal point scoring opportunities when participating in the club championship (in a calendar year).
COMPETITION
To be eligible for the Canberra Kart Racing Club Championship, you must meet the Competition eligibility criteria. Read more about the Competition eligibility criteria below.
- You must be a financial CKRC member at the rounds in which you compete to earn points in the 2025 CKRC club championship.
- Competitors must compete in a minimum of three (3) rounds within the championship year.
- A class must be run for a minimum of four (4) rounds within the championship year for it to be eligible for end of year awards.
- If entrants are reclassified by the organisers (e.g. TAG Heavy entrants are run as TAG Restricted Heavy due to lack of numbers), then, at the discretion of the Committee, championship points will be allocated to the originally entered class for championship purposes only. This is separate to any race day point allocations.
- Only rounds, as defined in the Club Calendar as “Club Championship Rounds” will count. (Note: ACT State Titles are NOT included as part of the calculation for the club championship).
- Competitors will have their single worst, or a “zero” score round dropped.
- Points are not transferable between classes or family members.
- If a competitor is excluded from an entire event zero (0) points will be awarded.
- Competitors will be awarded points as per their class finishing position, each round as per the CKRC point score calculation document.
- In the event of a tie on points, count back over the championship year will occur. Tied competitors will be awarded an additional 3 points for a round win, 2 points for a second place, and 1 point for a third place. This allocation will continue until the deadlock is broken.
The CKRC Committee reserves the right to amend or modify these rules as necessary. All decisions made by the committee are final.
