From Civic in Canberra, take Parkes Way (the main drag past the lake) towards the Airport. Continue past airport towards Queanbeyan. Over the hill you will see Queanbeyan ahead. The track is on the left, just past the Oaks Estate turn-off on the right. If you reach the railway line, you've gone too far.

The track is approximately 12 kilometres from the centre of Canberra.

To get a map, go to whereis.com.au, enter Pialligo Ave, Pialligo, ACT, and zoom out till you see the whole road from Canberra to Queanbeyan.

From outside Canberra, you can get a detailed map showing the best route to the track, by using the MapMaker service at TravelMate (www.travelmate.com.au). Enter NSW Queanbeyan as your destination in the Trip Map form. You will get a full road-map and route instructions. You'll be amazed, or if you're not, you should be.
